Convoworks
Visual Identity + UX/UI

Logo  /  Visual identity  /  User interface  /  User experience

Convoworks is a no-code platform that enables users to create workflows, APIs, and WordPress automations through a visual drag-and-drop builder. As the lead designer, I was responsible for the product's UX/UI design, visual identity, and supporting marketing materials, helping shape both the product experience and the overall brand presence.

The core challenge of the project was designing an interface for a highly sophisticated system without overwhelming users with its underlying complexity. The platform needed to provide powerful functionality while remaining intuitive enough for users to confidently build and manage automations through a visual interface. By carefully structuring information, simplifying complex interactions, and establishing clear visual patterns, I created an experience that makes advanced workflow building feel accessible, understandable, and efficient.

The visual identity was designed to reflect the platform's core purpose: connecting systems, data, and processes into seamless automated workflows. The icon combines elements inspired by signal waves and data flow, creating a recognizable symbol that communicates connectivity, automation, and communication while remaining simple enough to scale across digital products, marketing materials, and application interfaces.

Intuitive drag & drop builder

The workflow builder was the most complex part of the product. Users needed the flexibility to create sophisticated automation flows while still being able to understand and manage them visually. The challenge was to reduce cognitive load without limiting functionality. To achieve this, I focused on clear information hierarchy, consistent interaction patterns, and modular components that help users understand complex logic at a glance. The result is an interface that allows users to build powerful automations through an intuitive drag-and-drop experience.

user interface

One of the key design challenges was presenting nested conditions, branching logic, and reusable workflow elements in a way that remained easy to navigate. The interface was designed to visually communicate hierarchy and relationships between elements, allowing users to understand even large and complex workflows without feeling overwhelmed.

High fidelity mockups & prototypes

Once the core user flows and interface structure were validated, I translated them into high-fidelity designs and interactive prototypes. These prototypes allowed the team to evaluate workflows, refine interactions, and align product decisions before development, helping transform complex functionality into a polished and intuitive user experience.

user experience

The primary challenge of this project was simplifying a highly sophisticated automation platform without sacrificing flexibility or functionality. Through careful information architecture, user flow planning, and iterative problem solving, I focused on creating an experience that allows users to build complex workflows while maintaining clarity, confidence, and control throughout the process.

Design library

To ensure consistency and scalability across the platform, I created a comprehensive design system covering typography, colors, spacing, components, and interaction patterns. The system streamlined collaboration with developers while enabling the product to grow without compromising usability or visual consistency.

Social media visuals

Beyond the product itself, I developed marketing materials that extended the visual identity across promotional channels. The designs focused on communicating complex platform capabilities in a clear, approachable, and visually engaging way.

YouTube tutorial video covers

As the platform evolved, educational materials became an important part of the user experience. I designed visual assets for tutorials, walkthroughs, and onboarding content that help users quickly understand the platform and gain confidence using its features.

Review from convoworks founder

The Convoworks editor was one of the most challenging interfaces I've designed. The platform required users to build sophisticated automation workflows while still feeling approachable and intuitive. This public feedback from the company's founder reflects the success of that effort and remains one of the most meaningful recognitions of my work as a UX/UI designer.
